World Extreme Cagefighting will once again bring us another exciting matches this coming weekend. WEC 47 live stream: Bowles vs Cruz will feature Brian Bowles vs Dominick Cruz fight, Bowles, WEC bantamweight champion will defend his title for the first time against top challenger Dominick Cruz. WEC 47 will also feature the fight between former champ Miguel Torres and MMA legend Jens Pulver. Watch WEC 47 live stream as it takes place at Nationwide Arena in Columbus on March 6, 2010.
Bowles is currently holding the WEC's 135-pound title, he earned the title from a first-round win over former champ Miguel Torres at WEC 42 in August. However, Bowles became inactive after that match because oa a broken hand suffered in the fight. Bowles earned all eight of his career wins by stoppage. Meanwhile, Cruz earned his shot at the title with a one-sided unanimous-decision win over fellow contender Joseph Benavidez on the same WEC 42 card as Bowles vs. Torres. Cruz will try to steal the title from Bolwes.
