Can Colts maintain their clean record entering the playoffs? The Colts set NFL records for consecutive regular-season wins of 22 and victories in a decade of 114 with their latest victory over the Broncos on Sunday. They also captured its sixth AFC South title in seven years followed by a 35-27 win over Texans on Nov. 29. And as they face the Jaguars, the team that likely needs to win its final three games to make the postseason, Colts have no plan of backing down. Colts coach Jim Caldwell still plans to play his starters on Thursday night despite having wrapped up the AFC’s No. 1 seed for the playoffs. Colts is the seventh team in NFL history to start 13-0 and they look for its 14th straight victory. Meanwhile, Jacksonville Jaguars would earn a playoff spot by winning all three contests. Jaguars hasn’t lost back-to-back games since opening 0-2 and they must defeat a Colts team that hasn’t lost since Oct. 27, 2008, a loss would result in the Jaguars needing help to avoid missing the postseason for the eighth time in 10 years. In there first meeting on September 13, Colts beat Jaguars 14-12. Or the Jaguars hand the Colts its first loss.
