No one expect that the fights between Anderson Silva and Forrest Griffin will end that early. Silva defeated Griffin as the fight was stopped at the 3:23 mark of the first round. Silva sends Griffin to the floor in 1:54 of the fight with a punch, which obviously slowed down Griffin. Griffin tried to bounce back with some attacks but Silva just avoided them. Silva finishes the fight with a quick and short right jab to the chin. Silva won his 11th UFC fight with the win.
Meanwhile, Penn slips on the rear-naked choke and forces Kenny Florian to tapout.
