Watch the annual 2009 ESPY Awards night as it honor the best athletes and their memorable moments from the past year.
The 17th annual ESPY Awards announced the nominees last June 25, 2009 and the awarding of the winners is on July 19, 9PM in Nokia Theater LA. Hollywood actor Samuel L. Jackson will be the host and will be air on ESPN.
Basketball superstars Kobe Bryant and Lebron James are among the players vying for the Best Male Athlete together with Jimmie Johnson (Auto Racing) and Michael Phelps (swimming).
ESPY Awards winners in 2008 includes Tiger Woods for the Best Male Athlete and Candace Parker for the Best Female Athlete.
