Fedor Emilianenko vs Josh Barnett is the main event of the MMA: Affliction III. Fedor, the no. 1 pound-for-pound heavyweight fighter will be facing the top contender and the former UFC Heavyweight Champion Josh Barnett.

Both fighters won their respective fights it the first two shows of Affliction, the "Day of Reckoning" and "Affliction Banned".
