Country singer Kevin Skinner was named as the new America's Got Talent winner. Skinner took the grand prized worth $1 million and a headlining spot at a Las Vegas show in October and will be hosted by Jerry Springer. Skinner gets a nods from viewers as he recieved the most number of votes on Wednesday final act.
Skinner outshined Recycled Percussion from Goffstown, N.H.; the Texas Tenors from Houston; and singing sibling act Voices of Glory. Hairo Torres, Lawrence Beamen, Fab Five, Drew Stevyns and 75-year-old comedian Grandma Lee were dismissed from the talent competition earlier.
