WBC Champion Vitali Klitschko steps into the ring again in 2009 to face top contender and undefeated Kevin Johnson in a heavyweight boxing match. Klitschko is coming off a tremendous victories, he won against Juan Carlos Gomez by technical KO in round 9 in March then it was followed by a knocked out win against Chris Arreola in round 10 in Los Angeles last September. With his professional record of 38 wins (37 KOs) and 2 defeats due to injury, Klitschko will try to defend his title for the 3rd time in 2009. Meanwhile,Kevin Johnson who has a professional record of 22 wins (9 KOs) and 1 draw is ranked as number 6 of both WBC and WBA. He won against Devin Vargas in May and against former WBA World Heavyweight Champion Bruce Seldon.
Klitschko vs Johnson takes place at PostFinance-Arena in Bern on December 12th.
