The Los Angeles Clippers take the college player of the year Blake Griffin with the No. 1 pick in the 2009 NBA Draft. It was followed by the Memphis Grizzlies with a No. 2 pick where they take the Connecticut center Hasheem Thabeet. And the Spanish point guard Ricky Rubio falls to The Minnesota Timberwolves as the 5th pick.
