ANC's 2nd Countdown to 2010 Philippine Election Leadership Forum video

Last Saturday night I was able to watched the Countdown to 2010 Leadership Forum by the ANC Channel. It is an open forum with the presidentiables for the 2010 election. Among the presidentiable present in the forum are Senator Loren Legarda, ex-president Jseph Estrada, Makati Mayor Jejomar Binay and MMDA Chairman Bayani Fernando.

The forum was to held to help us make the right decisions in choosing the right person to be the next Philippine president.

Question ask involves some current issues happening in the country today.
Here are some of the question ask:

What are your thoughts on the lack of jobs here at home and the continuing migration of filipino workers abroad?

What is the most important quality of a supreme court justice aside from competence?

What will you prioritize in reallocating funds as a president?

Do you or do you not support the reproductive health?

And maybe still the hottest topic in town,

What are the public interest issues involved in the Hayden Kho video scandal?

Along the way you may find some funny moments from ex-president Joseph Estrada where you may think that the forum makes no sense at all (and it makes me think thats the reason why his term as a president was a big joke).

Best tag line in the forum - "Doon po sa amin sa Makati..."

Watch the video of the forum.

Obama's pick to win the 2009 NBA title

NBA 2009 Finals is coming and every one is getting excited already to know who is really the best team in this 2008-2009 NBA season. Its Lakers vs Magic in the Finals and everyone has their own picks of who is going to win the crown and so as the United States President Barack Obama.

President Barack Obama thinks that the Los Angeles Lakers are going to win the NBA crown.

While the president was on his way to the Marine One helicopter on the South Lawn for a trip to the Middle East a reporter suddenly shouted a question. The question is all about who's going to win the NBA championship, the L.A. Lakers or The Orlando Magic?

The president smile and said: "Lakers in six, I think.", which means the Lakers will win the best of seven series in six games over the Magic where game 1 is on Thursday.

Obama is a huge basketball fan and he once correctly predicted this year that the University of North Carolina men's basketball team would win the NCAA college championship.

Free iPhones for Japanese Students?

According to Associated-Press (AP), a prestigious Japanese university is giving away hundreds of iPhones, in part to use its Global Positioning System to nab students that skip class.

Truants in Japan often fake attendance by getting friends to answer roll-call or hand in signed attendance cards. That's verging on cheating since attendance is a key requirement for graduation here.
