Official nominees were announced last July 14th. This year's host is TV star Jane Lynch who won an Emmy last year for her portrayal as Sue Slyvester on the FOX hit, Glee.

Include in the nominees is Tina Fey for her impersonation of Sarah Palin in the Saturday Night Live show. Topping the nominations is the hit comedy 30 Rock, earning a record 22 nominations.

Watch 61st Primetime Emmy Awards Nominations live. The nominations for the 61^st Primetime Emmys will be announced on July 16 at 5:40 a.m. from the Academy's Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre in North Hollywood.

Greys Anatomy stars Chandra Wilson and Jim Parsons of Big Bang Theory will join Television Academy chair John Shaffner to announce the 61^st Primetime Emmy Awards Nominations on Thursday, July 16, at 5:35 a.m. The presentation of the 61^st Primetime Emmy Awards winners will be on September Sept. 20 at 8-11 p.m. EST that will be air on CBS and will originate from the NOKIA Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles.
