Magic pulls within 2-1 in 108-104 victory over Lakers

Dwight Howard and Rashard Lewis scored 21 points apiece in a 108-104 win over the L.A. Lakers in game 3 to pull within 2-1 and the Magic won their first game in two visits to the NBA Finals.

The Orlando Magic set a finals record in shooting, making 63 percent from the floor including another finals record 75 percent in the first half that give them the first franchise win in the finals and also avoided falling into 0-3.

Kobe Bryant scored 31 points, started hot in the first half and became cold in the entire second half scoring only 10 points and went only 4 of 15 from the field after the first quarter. Bryant who is seeking for his 4th title also missed five free throws that could have given them a commanding 3-0 lead in the series.
